Been doing alot of reading about prepping my 2.5 year old boy for the impending arrival of his brother. This birth is a scheduled C-section - I've been considering having my son at the hospital for the event - the whole surgery only takes 30 minutes so he could see me right before and then right after so we can all meet the new baby together. Is this a good idea?
In other news, CareSquare had a booth at the East Bay Mom's preschool preview fair this past weekend and I met a whole bunch of great young parents from the East Bay. Everyone was excited about CareSquare, hope we get some good new community members from the efforts. The preschool preview fairs are really a great place to not only find out about pre-school, but also whole host of other services for parents of preschool-age children.
I think it's a great idea to bring your son. However, you should prepare him for the fact that you will have lots of equipment on and around you, but make it sound exciting instead of scary... It will probably be a really neat experience for everyone.
